The SmartPHR® A holistic, interoperable personal electronic health record automatically extracts and consolidates patient information from many doctors’ unconnected electronic health records. Patients and providers access comprehensive SmartPHR records 24X7 from web- connected and mobile devices. Patients access their records via the SmartPHR user interface. Authorized providers access patient records via the SmartEHR user interface or via their native, interoperable EHRs.
The Smart Meaningful Use EHR™ Patient-centered, electronic health record modules enable health and human service providers to supplement or replace legacy systems. Providers select interoperability, CPOE, care plan, clipboard, disease registry, observations, meaningful-use and quality-indicator modules that suit their workflow needs and enable them to document adherence to CMS incentive requirements.
The Smart Health IT Integration Engine™ This infrastructure engine drives the exchange of encrypted HL7 messages including continuity of care data between diverse commercial EHRs, consolidates multi-source patient-specific data in a patient’s SmartPHR and exposes patients’ comprehensive records to authorized users via the SmartEHR and interoperable native EHRs.

Is your Regional Extension Center (REC) committed to bringing 1,000 or more providers to meaningful use of certified EHR technology by October 2010 (hospital providers) or January 2011 (outpatient providers)? Are you committed to engaging independent practices in a regional health information exchange (HIE) with local hospitals and community health centers? Here is a pricing option for a REC that employs Smart Medical Home technology for 1,000 plus providers. Each provider will receive 10,000 annual gold SmartPHRs subscriptions for current and future patients and one annual gold SmartEHR subscription with modules, usable alone or in combination with interoperable EHRs, for documenting and reporting adherence to meaningful use and quality indicator requirements. REC managers will receive on-demand access to aggregate data reports, free of HIPAA protected health information (PHI), for satisfaction of REC grant commitments. No EHR on the market offers these capabilities at any price. For SmartPHRs, SmartEHRs, and REC-administrator capabilities, the total first year per-provider cost, billable to credit cards, will be $3,000. Compare this to a per-provider gold SmartEHR retail cost of $7,200. Set-up fees will vary with provider IT and training needs.
